‘Santa Fund’ Holiday Toy Drive
Town of Caledon Fire & Emergency Services is teaming up again with Caledon Community Services (CCS) to support the ‘Santa Fund’ program ensuring that all families and children have food and gifts this holiday season. However, it will look a little different this year due to the health and safety protocols that are in place.
Town of Caledon fire stations and CCS will NOT be accepting toys or gifts this year to distribute to families. Instead community members are asked to participate in the program by donating gift cards. Denominations of $25 will be preferred and graciously accepted. All gift cards will be given out to families in need for parents and caregivers to personally shop for the items needed. Monetary donations are also being accepted online – ccs4u.org/donate. Canned food items are also being accepted. Gift card and food donations can be dropped off in person at the Exchange (55 Healey Rd, Bolton).
If toy donations are received, they will be provided to Evolve Clothing (4 Industrial Road, Bolton) for retail sale, as they are equipped to safely handle these types of transactions. All proceeds from the toy sales will go directly to CCS’s Santa Fund program.
