You all know I LOVE music, and pretend to be a fiddler and guitar player. My passion for Celtic music runs deep, and a few years ago, I heard an incredible group called
The Outside Track while I was in Goderich at the Goderich Celtic Festival.

Naturally, I “followed” them on Facebook. They were touring somewhere in Europe when lo and behold, a message went out to followers that they had some down time while touring Ontario. They were curious as to whether anyone might want to host a house party or something or the sort.
If it meant I was going to hear them perform again, I was going to host a “something of the sort”!
My house is pint-sized, so a house party here would consist of 6 people sitting on chairs and another 6 pressed up against the wall! So I asked some friends if they might have a spot. The most wonderful Kathleen Henning from Henning Salon in Orangeville offered her salon for a night in late February. Alas, the group was going to be in Montréal, and not able to make it there in time. But Sam Shepherd at the Higher Ground Coffee Company here in Belfountain stepped up and we now have a place for a concert!
If you are interested in coming (and I can’t see why you wouldn’t), please get in touch as soon as possible! I’m going to be selling tickets, and I want to make sure everyone who wants to hear this incredible group has chance to do that. And please, send this note around to anyone and everyone you think might want get lifted off their seat with this wonderful, soul lifting music!
